Veronica L. Scorzato, 96, from Plainville formerly of New Britain, passed away peacefully at home on Monday September 12, 2022. Veronica was born in New Britain to John and Eleanor Galka. She was employed by Fafnir Bearing until her retirement in 1985. Veronica deeply loved her family, shopping, dining out, and taking bus trips to Mohegan Sun. Veronica was married to John Scorzato who passed away in 2019. She will be deeply missed by her daughter Patricia Fairwood of Plainville. Veronica also deeply loved her granddaughters Kristin Henriques and her husband Carlos of South Windsor and Kerri Huntley and her husband Patrick of Burlington. In addition, Veronica had 5 great-grandchildren Kailyn, Liam, Carson, Kileigh, and Carter. There are no calling hours but a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Cross Church at 10:00 AM on September 26, 2022 followed by burial at Sacred Heart Cemetery. New Britain Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with.
