Died Wednesday, Oct. 8, 1980, at Earl K. Long Memorial Hospital. She was 55, a native of Livingston Parish and a resident of Hammond. Visiting from 3:30 to 11 p.m. Thursday and from 8 to 10:15 a.m. Friday at Seale Funeral home, Livingston. Religious services at 11 a.m. Friday at Northside Baptist Church, Denham Springs. Burial in Salem Cemetery, Walker.

Survived by her husband, Howard W. Brumfield, Hammond; a son, John Miller III, Baton Rouge; a stepson, John Wesley Richardson, Foxworth, Miss.; a stepdaughter, Patricia Aucoin, Denham Springs; five brothers, Alton, Sam, Luther and Huey Palmer, all of Walker, and Calvin Palmer, Livingston; three sisters, Mrs. Aline Jones, Walker, Mrs. Lavada Furr, Brookhaven, Miss., and Mrs. Arvilla Tyler, Sulphur; three grandchildren and two stepgrandchildren.
