Tommy Busby was born January 7, 1944 in Pocasset, Oklahoma to Rufus Busby and Juanita (Sitterding) Busby. He passed from this life on Monday September 5, 2022 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Tommy grew up and graduated from Pocasset High School in 1962. He worked for the OSU Extension Service, Hicks Western Wear, R & L Rental and then Gabriel Manufacturing.

On May 26, 1983, he married Vicki in Carnegie, Oklahoma and they shared 39 years together.

Tommy liked team roping, feeding fat horses and spending time with friends and family. He enjoyed Bob Wills music and dancing the Waltz. He loved roping with friends and his brother Jerry and taking Colorado pack trips.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Beverly Rayburn and her husband Joe Bill Rayburn, and brother Bennie Jon Busby.

The family would like to thank each one that may have sent a lovely card, sat with us quietly in a chair, sent a floral piece, spoke a kind word, thought and prayed for us, or consoled our hearts.

Services and cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
