Bennie Busby was born May 2, 1935 to Rufus and Juanita Busby in Duncan, Oklahoma. He passed away August 1, 2019 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Bennie graduated from Meridian High School in 1953. He married Joretta LeBleu in December of 1953. He retired from Continental Airlines in 1986. Bennie enjoyed his horses and team roping. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus and Juanita Busby, one sister, Beverly Rayburn and daughter, Sharon Chapman. He is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Karen and John Gentry of Chickasha, son and daughter-in-law, Shane and Cheryl Busby of Milton, Florida, sister, Marilyn Rodgers of Madill, OK, brother and sister-in-law Tommy and Vicki Busby of Chickasha, brother Jerry Busby of Chickasha, four grandchildren, Randi Chapman, Brooke Williams, Molly Thibodeaux, Cody Busby and four great grandchildren, Kolton, Noah, and Gabriel Thibodeaux and Miles Williams. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. There will be no services.
