Allie Mae Bowman, daughter of Murdock Martin and Annie Mariah (Sims) Phillips was born Apr.7, 1878 in Shelby County, Illinois
She united in marriage with William Martin Bowman on Oct.3,1895 and to this union were born eight children.

Several years ago William and Allie professed their faith in Christ and joined the Emmanuel Chapel.

Funeral services for Allie Mae Bowman, 93, of Lebanon were held 2pm Saturday, January 29, 1972 at Emmanuel Chapel with Rev.J.L.Stone officiating.
Mr. and Mrs.Harry Stevens sang "In the Garden", "I Dreamed I Searched Heaven" and "Rock of Ages"
Escorts were Dean, Elsworth, Richard, Don and Robert Bowman.
Burial was in Grange Hall Cemetery, under direction of Colonial Chapel

She is survived by six sons, Fred Elsworth of McCune, Kansas, Warren (Nellie) of Algona, Iowa, Walter (Wilma), Lloyd (Margaret), Paul(Effie) and Floyd (Essie), all of Lebanon; 23 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her husband, William, one daughter, Blanche at age three and one son, Henry in 1968
