Jessie Sturms Colombo, 78, a former resident of St. George, died July 21 in Canton, Ohio.

She was born April 15, 1927, in St. George, a daughter of the late Aubrey and Lillian Phillips Sturm.

Survivors include five sisters Dorothy O'Neal-Leto of Baltimore, Md., Peg Barr of East Canton, Ohio, Dorcas, of Pasadena, Md., Geraldine (and Bruce) Brugger, of Home Worth, Ohio, and Eleanor (and Harry) Ellis, of Pasadena Md.; four brothers, Gene (and Sue) Sturms, of Baltimore, Md., Forrest (and Carolyn) Sturms, of East Rochester, Ohio, Bill (and Carol) Sturms, of East Canton, Ohio and Rodney (and Mavis) Sturms, of Beloit, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Ira Nestor and her second husband Alfonso Colombo; one sister Gail; and five brothers, Peck, Aubrey, Dale, Roger and Teddy.

At the request of the deceased, she was cremated.

Interment was held at the Parsons City Cemetery.
