Born in Lyndhurst to Scandinavian immigrants. Kay and two younger siblings were born in the new home their father had built in 2924 prior to the Great Depression. Five older siblings were born in Jersey City.
She met her husband, Joe, during WWII and they married upon his return from the Pacific. They were narrued 30 yesrs prior to his pasding in 1976.
Kay was a bookkeeper, and upon her retirement, continued yo work part time until until reslly returing at 80. Predeceased by her husband, Kay was survived by her daughter, five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, one greatgreat-grandson. and many nieces & nephews.
