WEIR, Kan.—Mrs. Ora Elizabeth Smith, 76, died in Maude Norton Memorial hospital in Columbus at 7 o'clock Saturday night. She had been a patient for one week.

Born July 24, 1888, at Norwood, Mo., she came to Weir with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Lucas, in 1900. She was married to Cleve Smith on September 23, 1906 at Carthage. He died on December 22, 1953.

Mrs. Smith was a member of the Weir Baptist church.

Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Mary Harris of Cherokee, Ala., Mrs. Agnes Lee of Columbus, Kan., Mrs. Esther Dean of Galena, Mrs. Ora Fuller of Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. Dorothy Whisenhunt of Raytown, Mo.: five sons, Marion Smith and Harrison Smith, both of Columbus, John Smith of Pittsburg, Carl Smith of Westville, N.J., and Walter Smith of Kansas City, Mo.: two sisters, Mrs. Maggie Ross of Weir, and Mrs. Mary Smith of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a brother, Pete Lucas, address unknown; 26 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in the Naylor-Quinn funeral home chapel in Weir with Rev. James Shope officiating. Burial will be in Hosey Hill cemetery at Weir.
