Dorothy, age 82, passed away at Mercy Regional Health Center in Manhattan. She was born in Garrison, Kansas (now under Tuttle Creek Lake) the daughter of Arthur Eugene and Nannie Pearl (Walker) Area. She married Donald Lamb on July 30, 1947. Survivors include her husband, her children, Larry Lamb, Steve Lamb, and Linda Lamb, six grandsons, and one great-granddaughter. Funeral services were held at Yorgenson-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home in Manhattan. Burial was in St. George Cemetery.
