Survived by two sons, Stan Kelly (Jerri) Risner, Shannon Davis (Tonya) Risner both of Salyersville, Kentucky, five daughters, Rosa Sharon (Ricky Castle) Slone, Laura Edith (Harry) Howard, Julie Marie (Scottie) Hall. Kimberly (David) Vanhoose all of Salyersville, Kentucky, Pamelene Risner of Royalton, Kentucky, two brothers, one sister, Sissy Prater of Royalton, Kentucky, twenty-six grandchildren, forty-three great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Kelly is preceded in death by his wife, Rosa Mae Bailey Risner, whom he married August 31, 1960, three brothers, Kermit Risner, Garland Risner, Boyd Risner, five sisters, Edith Risner Howard, Susie Prater, Mary Risner, Estie Fitzpatrick, Goldie Risner, two sons-in-law, Gary Gibson, and Carison Slone.
Kelly was a devoted member of the Boyd Risner Memorial Church.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, July 08, 2022 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Dallas Patrick and Robert May officiating. Burial will follow in Kelly Risner Sweet Rose Cemetery at Kermit Risner Road, Royalton, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home Thursday, July 07, 2022 from 6:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. and any time prior to funeral services.
