Survivors also include two sons, Stan Kelly (Jerri) Risner and Shannon David (Tonya) Risner both of Salyersville, Kentucky, four daughters, Rosa Sharon Slone, Laura Edith (Harry) Howard, and Julie Marie (Scottie) Hall all of Salyersville, Kentucky and Pamelene Risner of Royalton, Kentucky, and two sisters, Ella Mae Bailey and Donna Howard both of Salyersville, Kentucky. Twenty grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren also survive.
Rose was a devoted member of the Boyd Risner Memorial Church.
In addition to her parents, Rose is preceded in death by three brothers, Buster Bailey, Hershell Dick Bailey and Jerry Wayne Bailey, and three sisters, Ellen Newman, Helen Shepherd, and Lizzie Miller.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm Sunday, December 2, 2018 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Dallas Patrick and Robert May officiating. Burial will follow in the Les Risner Cemetery at Shawnee Branch, Kentucky.
