Beulah Chesteen Landrum

Beulah Chestten Landrum, 96, of Stewart died after a lengthy illness on Tuesday, March 24, 1998 at the Kilmichael Hospital.

Mrs. Landrum was a former teacher and homemaker and a lifelong resident of Webster County. She was a member of the Milligan Springs Baptist Church where she served as Church Clerk and Sunday School Teacher for over 25 years. She taught school at Dorris School and Old Nations School for 13 years. Mrs. Landrum was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Eugene Landrum.

A celebration of Mrs. Landrum's life was held on March 26, at the Milligan Springs Baptist Church with the Reverend Drew Blanton of Laurel and Brother Dan Beardain of Winona officiating. Burial was in the Milligan Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Landrum is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Sarah May and Mrs. Doris Daughety, both of Brandon; four sisters, Mrs. Lois Cummins of Laurel, Mrs. Minnie Stevens and Mrs. Lura Ware, both of Houston, and Mrs. Juanita Madden of San Luis Obispo, California; four granddaughters, Mrs. Deborah Mitchell of Belden, Mrs. Pam Durrett of Harrisburg, North Carolina, Mrs. Donna Lindsay of Ridgeland and Mrs. Paula Trammell of Brandon; and nine great-grandchildren, Lindsi Boulette and Jake Mitchell of Belden, Billy and Becky Durrett of Harrisburg, North Carolina, Ashley and Abbey Lindsay of Ridgeland, and Haley, Brittany and Josh Trammell of Brandon.

Pallbearers were Billy Cummins, Jimmy Cummins, Charles Trammell, Tim Lindsay, Joe Bridges and Pete Malone. Lee Funeral Home of Winona was in charge of arrangements.
