Lois Chesteen Cummins

Mrs. Lois Chesteen Cummins, 94, of Laurel, formerly of Stewart, died of heart failure Sept. 26, 2001 at her residence. She was a retired cafeteria manager and a homemaker and a member of Milligan Springs Baptist Church in Stewart.

Mrs. Cummins was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Clayton L. Cummins.

Funeral services were held Sept. 28 at Milligan Springs Baptist Church in Stewart. Burial was at Milligan Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Dan Beardain officiating.

Mrs. Cummins is survived by one daughter, Marilyn Blanton of Laurel; two sons, Jimmy Cummins of Kilmichael, Billy Cummins of Forrest; three sisters, Lura Ware, Minnie Stevens, both of Houston, Juanita Madden of San Lous Obspo, Calif.; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were James Cummins Jr., Arnold Cummins, Gene Cummins, Glenn Cummins, John Walker and Michael Blanton.

Lee Funeral Home of Winona was in charge of the rrangements.
