PICKENS, SC - Miss Sarah Ida Chastain, 79, died Saturday.
A native of Pickens County, daughter of the late Nelson and Lenora Masters Chastain, she was a member of Griffin Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Mary Greer and Miss Leova Chastain of Pickens; and two brothers, Furman and Webb Chastain of Pickens.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Dillard Funeral Home. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
The body is at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. The4 family is at the home of Mrs. Oscar Chastain, Farr's Bridge Road, Pickens.
