Isaac "Porter" Bennefield was born December 17, 1923 in Hoffman, Oklahoma. He worked as a Polk County Road Maintenance Engineer retiring in 1962. He married Vivien Pace on December 13, 1944. She died in 2000. He loved to play the mandolin.

He is survived by his children, Margaret McCloud, Harold Bennefield and Candace Tiley, five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and four sisters, Sallie Mae Millhouse, Sarah Adeline Leard, Martha Lee Tate and Virgie Leona Barnes.

Has preceded in death by five brothers John Franklin, Henry Colonel, J. Kay, William Cecil and Irvin Charles Bennefield and two sisters Sue Smith and LueElla Leard.
