"L. George Grant made his home in a section of Monongahels, Pa. called George Town, the area laid out by Adam Wickerham's father. L. George Grant, a first cousin to Union General Ulysses S Grant (born Hiram Ulysses Grant), was dischaged August 123rd, 1864 and move his family to Udall, Kansas in 1869. Grant died August 19th. 1896 and is buried in Udalls' Ninnascah Cemetery."
