Bernice was born on May 12, 1941, to the late Woodrow and Lela Mae Duncan in Sparta, Tennessee.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hayden Bumbalough; brother, Ardell Duncan; sister, Rowena Clark.
She is survived by her sisters, Mary Mildred Clark, Ellene Thomas; brother-in-law, David Clark; nieces, Amber (Jay) Harris, Andrea (Ensley) Hagan, Tracy (Scott) Elliott; nephews, Kurt Clark, Chad Clark, Micheal Duncan, Randall Duncan; also, numerous great nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Graveside service will be at Oaklawn Cemetery. Interment will be at Oaklawn Cemetery. Thurman Funeral Home is Honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
