Salt Lake Tribune, The (UT) Deceased: Venna Winifred Shepard O'Neill Date: May 1, 1992 V. Winifred Shepard O'Neill. Born April 6, 1903 in Richmond, Utah, passed away April 29, 1992. Daughter of James Isaac Shepard and Hortense Vilate Griffin Shepard. Attended North Cache High School in Richmond. When family moved to Salt Lake City, attended East High School and was an active member of the Wasatch Ward of the LDS Church. She moved to Oakland, California in 1923 where she married Hugh O'Neill. She worked for the University of California Science Department until she retired in 1969. Survived by sister, Naomi Shepard MacCabe Manwaring, Turlock, Calif.; and a brother, Guy Shepard, Tooele. Funeral services will be held May 2, 1992, 11 a.m. at Russon Brother Mortuary, 255 South 200 East, Salt Lake City. Family and friends may attend a viewing from 10-10:45 a.m. at the same location. Interment, Richmond, Utah Cemetery following the funeral.
