Miss Sophia Pfaff, 74, of 1415 Sixth avenue, Rock Island, a lifelong resident of this city, died in Moline Public hospital at 7;20 o'clock this morning following complications from a fractured him incurred five days ago.
She was born Dec. 15, 1873, in Rock Island, a daughter of Phillip and Katherine Pfaff. She attended Immanuel Lutheran parochial school and Rock Island high school. Miss Pfaff was a member of Immanuel Lutheran church.
Surviving are a sister, Miss Katherine Pfaff of Rock Island, and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers.
The body will be taken from the Hodgson funeral home to the residence at 6:30 o'clock this evening. The body will be returned to the funeral home at noon Saturday for funeral services there at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran cemetery.
