Of Jackson, MI passed away on September 29, 2021 at the age of 74. He was born on December 8, 1946 in Salyersville, KY to his parents Dock and Sallie Hale. Willard retired from the Jackson County Road Commission after 33.5 years. Willard was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He was preceded in death by his parents Dock and Sallie Hale; brothers, Arnold, Dock Jr., Ollie, Paul and sister Bridie. Willard is survived by his loving wife Connie; children, Polly Johnson, Joe Hale and Jeff (Kitty) Hale; grandchildren, Troy Jr., Samantha, Trevor, Vanessa, William, Selena, Brianna and Hailey; 5 great-grandchildren; siblings, Donald, Bessie and Polly; brother and sister in law Mike and Diane DeHaven and their two sons Andrew and Matthew; several special nieces, nephews, family, friends and his beloved Dog Trumpette. He will be missed by all who knew him.
