Notes~ There is a discrepancy between the date of birth of the birth record, and the death certificate. We are using the date of birth that is reflected on the birth record.

BIRTH-
Morgan County Indiana Index to Birth Records, 1880-1920 Inclusive, Book H-2 page 2, records a white male was born on 22 January 1902, to Columbus Dillender, and "Thacker."

Indiana State Board of Health Certificate of Death No. 6, page 38 for Washington Township, Morgan County records Infant Dillender, an 8-day old [sic] white male, died on 10 February 1902. Comments by the physician, D. P. Kennedy, state "I saw the family of (illegible) Dillender, and they report that their baby, a few days old died very suddenly before they had time to send for a physician." He was the son of Columbus Dillender, and his mother's maiden name was Thacker. The physician, D. P. Kennedy was the informant. Burial was at Mahalasville Cemetery in Morgan County on 10 February 1902, H. J. Hinson of Martinsville, undertaker.
