FLORENCE MATILDA ORR, a resident of Lance Creek, WY for 21 years, died Saturday June 3, 1961 of a subsequent heart attack, after falling and suffering a fractured pelvis while in the Wyoming State Hospital in Evanston, WY. She was born August 15, 1890 near Nickleville, Richland Township, Venango County, PA, and was a daughter of Charles Alexander and Etta Louella Boyer Fox. On June 29, 1910, she married Clyde Arthur Orr at East Sandy, PA. They celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary in 1960. In addition to her husband, she is survived by four sons: Clarence O. Orr, of Hinsdale, IL; Duane Orr and Jerry Orr, of Powell, WY; and Paul Orr of Denver, CO. Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Helen Rogers, of Fort Collins, CO, 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. The funeral services were held at the Peet Mortuary Wednesday June 7 at 2 p.m. The Rev. William Frederickson officiated. Mrs. Lyle Eddy sang, the Rebekah Lodge conferred the services in the chapel and Mrs. Edna DeCastro played the organ. Active pallbearers were: Chester Stubson, Ivan Maxwell, Lester Meade, Barney Kiever, E. Cobb and Richard Kant. Graveside services were held at the Lusk Cemetery in Lance Creek.
