ETTA LOUELLA BOYER FOX was born September 5, 1866, a daughter of Neri and Mary Mitchell Boyer. She died at her home in Van Monday evening September 6, 1926, aged 60 years and one day. She was united in marriage to Charles Alexander Fox by the Rev. L.P. Saylor, deceased, on May 5, 1884. Mrs. Fox was a faithful worker and member of the Evangelical Church. She leaves to mourn their loss her husband and six sons: Harry N. Fox of Perne, KS, Homer D. Fox and Charles Norman Fox of Sedan, KS, Ervin B. Fox of Franklin, Nelson Leroy Fox of Ford City and Clarence W. Fox, at home. Two daughters, Mrs. Beulah May Thomas of Kittanning and Mrs. Florence N. Orr of Ft. Collins, CO, also survive. The following five brothers survive her: Rev. L.M. Boyer, Canton, OH; I.D. Boyer of Portland, OR; J.C.F. Boyer of Knox; W.G. Boyer of Cranberry and Rev. N. Frank Boyer of Braddock. Four sisters survive: Mrs. George Adam Reifsnyder and Mrs. Nathan Miller, both of Knox; Mrs. C.E. Miller of Oil City and Mrs. W.L. Cribbs of Coffeyville, KS. Mrs. Fox was buried in the Valley Cemetery.
