Mary M. Robinson, 82, a retired federal employee, died of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, Lou Gehrig's Disease, June 25 at her home in Catonsville.
Born in Albemarle, N.C., she lived for many years in the Washington, D.C., area.
She was a 25-year employee at the Naval Ordinance Laboratory at White Oak and in Washington. She was a member of Wallace Memorial Presbyterian Church of Hyattsville.
Her hobbies were gardening and needlepoint.
She is survived by one son, Nolan G. Robinson of Severna Park; one granddaughter; one brother, William F. Howard of Maryland; and one sister, Lena Burleson of Albemarle.
She was the widow of Nolan D. Robinson who died in 1975 and grandmother of Daniel Robinson who died in 1995.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the HinesRinaldi Funeral Home, 11800 New Hampshire Ave., Silver Spring where the funeral service will be at 10 a.m.. Monday. Burial will follow at Fort Lincoln Cemetery in Brentwood.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice Fund, 3421 Benson Ave., Suite G-100, Baltimore, MD 21227.
