Lilly was one of seven children born to William Harris and Julia Attas (Moose) Howard. She married Charlie Archer Wilson in 1915 and they were the parents of three daughters: Mary Lois, Ruby Lee, and Francis M.

MRS. CHARLIE WILSON

Funeral for Mrs. Charlie A. Wilsaon, 65, of 644 Chestnut St., who died yesterday, was held at Murray Chapel at 3 p.m. today, Rev. Joel T. Key, pastor of St. Paul Methodist Church, and Rev. Norman L. Blythe, pastor of Bessemer Baptist Church, officiated. Burial was in Green Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Wilson had been ill for several months. She was the former Lillie P. Howard, a native of Stanly County, and had lived here 48 years. She was a member of St. Pual Church.
Surviving are her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Clarence G. Carter, Mrs. Ervin A. Wyrick and Mrs. W. W. Cook, all of Greensboro; three sisters, Mrs. Paul H. Kellam of Washington, Mrs. Gertrude Almond of Albemarle and Mrs. Alice Brown Johnson of High Point; a brother, Daniel Howard, of Summerfield; three half-sister, Mrs. Ray Backus, Mrs. Noland Robinson and Mrs. Robert Reburn, all of Washington, two half-brothers, Bernard and Flo Howard, both of Washington, and four grandchildren.
