Mertisha went by the nickname of Tish with family & friends. She was the daugther of Charles Roswell Maney & Nancy Ann York. Tish married 3 times.
1st marriage to John Ross, of which 2 children were born.
2nd marriage to Frank Marion Waugh Sr. , of which 4 children were born.
3rd marriage to John Joseph Rongish, of which 2 children were born.
She was one of seven daugthers born to Charles & Nancy Manley. The sisters were known by many as the "Manley Sisters". Even after all sisters were grown, they would often get together to have fun.
She is buried near one of her sons, Herbert Ivan Waugh.

Selinda Mertisha Rongish, hospitalized after a lengthy illness, dies. She was the widow of John Rongish. Mrs. Rongish leaves 124 survivors. Funeral services will be held at the Meyer Funeral Home, with Rev. E.J. Frody officiating, on June 25th, 1957 at 10:30 am.
Burial will be at the Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Council Bluffs Iowa.
