Ella Spurlock, 72, 921 14th Ave. , died Tuesday noon at a local hospital after an illness of 1 year. A resident of Council Bluffs 22 years, she was born in Rockport Missouri. Besides her husband, Fred, she is Survived by a daughter, Mrs. Marie C. Purear of Council Bluffs, 4 sisters, Mrs. Mertisha Rongish of Council Bluffs, Mrs. Eva Waugh of Joplin Missouri, Mrs. Ida Brown of Morganville California & Mrs. Della Worl of Barnstall Oklahoma. The funeral will be held Saturday at 2 pm at the Culter Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at the Memorial Park Cemetery.
