"Megan Kulikowski, age 95, passed away peacefully at her home in Springfield/Battle Creek on January 3, 2022. She was born in Tynant, Wales on October 31, 1936, the daughter of William Henry & Georgina ( ) Thompson. She married Joseph Kulikowski in Cardiff, Wales, on October 7, 1944. Megan came to the United States in April, 1946. She became a naturalized U.S. citizen on May 5, 1964. She was a homemaker who loved to cook, and also collected decorative thimbles. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Sr, and sons Terrance, Steve, and Joseph, Jr. She is survived by her son David Kulikowski of Battle Creek/Springfield, two brothers in Wales, and several grandchildren and great- grandchildren. According to her wishes, she has been cremated and there will be no services. Burial will be at Ft. Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, Michigan next to her husband Joseph."
