MANY Hours Spent Walking Through Cemeteries, even through rain, sleet, and snow.. so please be KIND when suggesting edits, and know that I am a VOLUNTEER who has only good intentions to help document and preserve family histories.

Happy to transfer memorials to family members as requested, within the guidelines.

I have been working steadily to photograph ALL memorials at a nearby national cemetery that are without photos, and have made great progress (from only 50% when I started to over 99% photographed now)!!! I love being able to honor our nation's veterans by helping to ensure their loved ones know where they are buried and can visit them to pay their respects, just as I do for my own father.

Personally, I am a widow way too early in life from my husband and best friend of over 23 years, and now have to raise our 2 younger children by myself... our oldest is a young adult. I have also suffered the loss of both my mother and father during the same year and a half as my husband. Life has been HARD.. :'( My father was an Army Veteran from the Vietnam War, and was buried with military honors.

Genealogy is my hobby and very important to me. Cherish the time you have with your family.. life is WAY too short!

Some of my favorite Bible verses:

"...but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." ~Isaiah 40:31

"Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.." ~John 11:25-26

"You too have grief now, but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice; and no one will take your joy away from you." ~John 16:22 (I received this verse as a sign from my sweet husband, and will forever cherish it)..
