Imogene Maxey- Rieman of Barnsdall, OK passed away on December 19, 2021, in Bartlesville, OK at the age of 94. Imogene was born on October 30, 1927, in Turley, OK to Chris McKnight and Ruth Carl.
Imogene was married to Tom Maxey for 51 years. In 1960, Imogene, Tom and their children moved to Barnsdall where they purchased the local dry-cleaning business which they named Maxey Cleaners. Later in the early 1980's Imogene, with the help of her mother, started her own custom drapery business. In addition to the cleaning business, she also did alterations for the community of Barnsdall. The Maxey's later moved their dry-cleaning business to Hominy and later retired and sold the business. Several years after Tom passed away, Imogene later married Bill Rieman.
Imogene was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; sisters, Nola Pawlak and Christine Kerr.
She is survived by her children, Tommy Maxey (Tulsa) and Evelyn Kelley (Barnsdall); sisters, Crystal Bradford (Houston) and Judy Tinsley (Bartlesville); 8 grandkids, 14 great grandkids; 7 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
