Dolores Loesch Ford passed away peacefully on December 2, 2021 in Brenham, Texas. She was 92 years old. Dolores was born on September 20, 1929 in Kenney, Texas, the daughter of Theo & Minnie Winkelmann Loesch. She grew up and attended school in the Travis Community of Kenney. A longtime member of St. John Lutheran Church, she was baptized on March 4th, 1945, and confirmed March 25th, 1945 by Pastor Weber.

On May 13th, 1960, in Corpus Christi, Texas, she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Jerry M. Ford. During the early years of their marriage, they resided in Beeville, then in the early 80's, they relocated to Bellville to be closer to family. She loved the home she and Jerry built together. She was a phenomenal housekeeper and her home was immaculate at all times. You would never find a speck of dust in her home and we would often tease that a slice of cheese could be dropped on the floor and eaten as it would be as clean as a plate! Dolores loved to travel, but never for too long or too far. She loved her home and would miss it too much. She and Jerry were avid campers and loved to fish, but a couple of days at the lake was all she could take before having Jerry bring her back home. He could go back and camp for as long as he wanted, but she wanted to be back in her home!

They enjoyed gardening and would grow a garden that could feed a small army. She was an amazing cook and enjoyed canning. She made the best salsa and pickles. During holidays, her grandsons would devour all the pickles before anyone else could get one. Her apple pies were much the same. Her sons would bicker over who could take the leftover pie so she started to make them each their own. It was also a given that there would be corn and mashed potatoes at every meal because she knew a certain someone loved to mix them together. She loved her family and she doted on them. She spoiled her grandkids and great-grandkids unmercifully. Cooking was one of her ways of showing love and you could see that by the enormous spread of everyone's favorite foods on the table. In her bible she even wrote, "Oh, how I love my grandkids and great-grandkids so very much and my 3 children are my life. My love and my being is Jerry and I love our family. God knows just how very much!".

Dolores is survived by her children, Terry O. Wiktorik, Gary Wiktorik and wife, Ceal, and Patsy Ford; grandchildren, Wendy and Shawn Jackson, Terry Clay Wiktorik, Heath and Melaine Wiktorik, Colonel Shane and Heather Louis, Kevin and Shanna Louis, and Kimberly and Jason Pampell; great-grandchildren, Peyton Price and fiance, Josh King, Jake Price, Tylin and Sloan Jackson, Gage Wiktorik, Lexaley and friend, Jared Mikolajczak, Ashley Wiktorik, Trevor, Madison, and Morgan Louis, Austin and Kolby Louis, and Shelby Pampell; sister, Gladys Ueckert; sister-in-law, Reva Loesch; beloved niece, Lacey Pitchford; as well as many other nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry M. Ford; parents, Theo and Minnie Loesch; grandson, Erik Wiktorik; great-grandson, Beau Wiktorik; daughter-in-law, Wanda Wiktorik; sister, Adele Rayburn; brothers, Delton and JD Loesch; father-in-law, Alvin Ford; mother-in-law, Enola Thompson; sisters-in-law, Ruby Loesch, Darlene McNeil, Pauline Caldwell, and Aline Werlla; brothers-in-law, Thomas Rayburn, Henry Ueckert, James Ford, Ray Caldwell, Ed McNeil, and Jesse Werlla.
