MUNSON - A public memorial service for Rick Alan Dunlap, 46, of Munson will be held Saturday, June 6, 2009, at 1:30 p.m. at the Chapel of Strange and Weaver Funeral Service, Morrisdale, with the Rev. Bob Andrews officiating.
Mr. Dunlap died Monday, June I, at 9:52 a.m. at Clearfield Hospital.
There will be no public visitation.
Born Sept. 23, 1962, at Philipsburg, he was a son of William Dunlap Sr. of Clearfield and the late Patricia Dullen Dunlap.
Mr. Dunlap was affiliated with the Methodist faith.
He had attended West Branch Area schools.
He was a heavy equipment mechanic for Superior Parts, Shiloh. He had worked previously on construction for HRI in State College.
Mr. Dunlap was a member of the Lincoln Club in Hawk Run.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and all outdoor activities. He was well known for his mechanical skills.
Surviving are his wife, Jeanette G. Cowder Dunlap of Munson; one daughter, Jessica L. Dunlap, at home; one son, Rick A. Dunlap Jr., at home; two sisters, Janet M. Barley of Reedsville and Debbie Y. Thompson of Clearfield; and three brothers, William B. Dunlap Jr. of Lewistown, Andrew J. Dunlap and his wife, Bobbie, of Clearfield, and Clyde P. Dunlap and his wife, Dorothy, of Philipsburg.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by an infant sister, Betty Lou Dunlap.
