Stoney Creek Mills, July 20-Amos H. Wentzel, 87, retired Lower Alsace township farmer, died at 6:20 o'clock last night at his home.
Mr. Wentzel was a son of the late Daniel and Mary (Hoffman) Wentzel. ... His wife Susan Schildt Wentzel, died Nov. 4, 1933.
Surviving are 10 children: Geroge, Pottsville; Charles, Norristown; Calvin, Reading; Harry, Spring Valley; Thomas, this place; Edward, Temple; Katie, wife of Elias Hinnershitz, this place; Sue, Reading; Carrie, at home, and Jennie, widow of Sylvester Weaver, Reading; also 39 grandchildren, and a sister, Marie, widow of Daniel Tobias, Reading. ...
At the time of his death Anna Catherine died as a child, Amos William, James J, Amos Leroy, and Sarah Ellen Wentzel were already dead.
