Born in Culver, August 31, 1904, she was a daughter of Edward R. and Muriel L. Cook. She died Thursday, March 19 at the William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, Mich, following an extended illness.

On January 23, 1937 in Denver, Indiana, she married to Jacob Leo Butler, who died in 1975. She moved to Royal Oak, Mich. in 1978 to reside with her daughter.

She was survived by daughter Mrs. Eloise Savage of Royal Oak Michigan; a son, Harlan Butler of Lawton, Oklahoma; 2 step-daughters, Mrs. Betty Forrest and Mrs. Mary Rogan, both of Stewart, Fla; 3 step-sons, Oliver Butler of Michigan City, Leo Butler, Jr. of Knox, Raymond Garbison of Florida; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Josephine Adams of Culver; and two brothers, Charles Cook of Culver, and Thomas Cook of Knoxville, Iowa.
