Mrs. Driskill was born in Palo Pinto, TX. She was the youngest daughter of 10 children, born to the late Waldron Baron "Dodd" Brown and Effie Ola Rasberry Brown. She graduated from Cato High School, worked as a railroad dispatcher and later worked in airplane construction in Dallas, TX during World War II. She married Roger David Driskill in 1946 and began her career as a homemaker with subsequent births of two daughters. She was a member of the Florence Baptist Temple.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roger David Driskill in 2005; and her youngest daughter, Joan Marie Lee in 2013; and all of her siblings.
