Thelma was born September 10, 1936 to Ernest and Ida Mae Yance Hosea in Waller County, Texas.

She was a longtime resident of Tyler County. She raised her kids in Hillister, Texas and following Hurricane Rita, moved to Colmesneil. She joked with family, the next time she moved it would be up ~~~to her heavenly home. Thelma experienced many heartaches through her life, yet she seldomly complained. Through all the hard times she attributed her strength to God and always remained steadfast in her faith. She spent many years as a devoted caregiver, yet always had time to make "Granny Corn" or throw a pork roast on to cook. She loved her family and especially spoiling the great grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Ida Mae Hosea, 1st husband, Harold Rebbe, her daughter, Betty Ann Hearn, her son, Henry Earl "PeeWee" Rebbe and 2nd husband, Gerald W. Waldrep, Sr.

She is survived by her son, Harold Wayne Rebbe and wife Pam of Spurger, Texas, her daughter, Carolyn Patrick and husband Ricky of Colmesneil, stepson, Gerald Wayne Waldrep and wife Callie of Bridge City, Texas, stepdaughter, Lydia DeHart and husband Michael of Broussard, Louisiana, grandchildren, Carrie Holson and husband Brian, Kachel Teal and husband Walt, Chad Patrick and wife Katie, Nicole Dean and husband Bart, Kelly Mitchell, Weston Rebbe and wife Norma, Adam Boyd and wife Liz, Brian DeHart and wife Courtney and Kylie Sanches and husband Brian, 28 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, her sisters, Gertie Sims, Myrtle Costello, Jeanie Munyon, Mattie Arkwright and Virgie Lizotte and a host of other family and friends.
