Chester Faye Foster, 73, of Weippe died on January 10, 2014 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston. He was born on March 23. 1940 in Marble, Arkansas to Jesse Alfred and Jessie Irene (Tackett) Foster. He had been a resident of the Orofino area since 1956. He married Jeannine Nevada Mattson on October 18, 1958. He was a retired employee of City of Orofino and Clearwater County Road Department. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Edna Pearl Spradling; his brothers, Johnie Summers Foster and Lester Archie Foster; and a granddaughter. He is survived by his wife, Jeannine; his sons, David Wayne Foster and Lester Alfred Foster; his daughter, Sally Jayne Harney; his brothers, Noel Allen Foster, Orville Kenneth Foster, and William Riley Foster; his half brother, Alfred Daniel Foster; his half sister, Ruth Anna Drake; eleven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. A celebration of life was held Saturday at Pierce Community Center. Arrangements were under the direction of Malcom's Brower-Wann Funeral Home.
