Kenneth F. Ameigh, of Cicero, NY, died peacefully in his home on July 3, 2021 at the age of 74. Ken was born on January 24, 1947, to Walter and Cynthia Ameigh in Syracuse, NY. After graduating from North Syracuse High School in 1965, he proudly served in the US Navy from 1966 – 1970. Ken was the successful owner and operator of Suburban Vacuum from 1977 until retiring finally in 2014. Ken was happily married to Linda Ameigh (Teller) in March of 1968 and their love story endured for 53 years. In addition to his wife, Ken leaves behind his children, Christina Ameigh, Jennifer Madura; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren, and his sister, Diane Coates of Theresa. He was predeceased by his brother, Daniel, in 1995. He was an avid classical mandolinist and was relearning the guitar. Besides spending time with his family and friends, Ken enjoyed woodworking and exercise. Ken was well liked by everyone that met him and was always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. He touched many lives with his generosity and his passion for life. Family and friends are invited to share a Celebration of his life on Thursday July 8th from 10am-12pm at Sears Middleton Mathewson Funeral Home, 209 N. Main Street, North Syracuse, NY 13212 with services to follow at 12pm. Burial in Pine Plains Cemetery in Clay, NY.
