Born in Morganton, N.C., she retired after 35 years with the Graniteville Co. and was a member of First Baptist Church of Vaucluse.
Surviving are a son, Bill Rains of Aiken; daughters, Mrs. Sara Harrigal and Mrs .Roberta Red, both of Vaucluse; brothers, Clyde Pollard of Morganton, Ralph Pollard of Hickory, N.C. and Wayne Pollard of Glen Alpine, N.C.; and sisters, Mrs. Pauline Perry and Ms. Frances Pollard of Palmdale, Calif. and Mrs. Louise Caubsy of Glen Alpine.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church of Vaucluse with burial in Vaucluse Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Vaucluse or to the building fund of Memorial Baptist Church of Aiken.
