Funeral services for Kennie Gene Tullis will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, June 9th, 2021, in the Chapel of White Oaks – Alexandria with Pastors Byron Huntsberry and Roger Toney officiating.
Committal service will follow in the Taylors Chapel Cemetery in Summerville under the direction of White Oaks Funeral Home, Oakdale.
Visitation will be held in the Chapel of White Oaks – Alexandria, Tuesday, June 8th, 2021, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m., then on Wednesday, June 9th, 2021, from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m.
Kennie, of Tioga, entered eternal rest on Monday, June 7, 2021, in Jena, Louisiana. He was born March 1, 1956, in Alexandria to the union of Carl Tullis and Iris (Taylor) Tullis.
He was a roofer and painter.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Barney Tullis.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are three brothers, Lavelle T. (Linda) Tullis of Bentley and Dalton Greene of Vidor, Texas, and Larry Benjamin Tullis of Pollock; one sister, Betty Mae Jarrett of Petersburg, Virginia; along with a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Pallbearers to serve will be Lavelle Tullis Jr., Taylor Tullis, Michael Shane Eversull, Billy Joe Evans, Mark Brunson, and Clifton Maness.
The Family would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff of Jena Nursing & Rehabilitation Center and Christus Hospice for the kindness and care showed to our loved one.
