Pearl Bennett is my great-grand aunt. She was the daughter of Charlie Ammons Bennett and Frances "Fannie" Blaylock Bennett. Pearl married Oscar Cleveland Miller and had four children.

From The Enterprise-Tocsin, Nov. 30, 1978, Sec. 1 Page 7:
Pearl Bennett Miller, 76, died November 23 at the Care-Inn Nursing Home here in the city. She had lived in Indianola for 38 years. Mrs. Miller was a Baptist and a native of Grenada County. She was the widow of O. C. (Oscar Cleveland) Miller, Sr.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary Joyce M. Hagerty, Indianola, and Mrs. Sue M. Hawkins of Jackson, two sons, O. C. Miller, Jr., Indianola, and John W. Miller of Marietta, Georgia, 7 grandchildren and 2 great- grandchildren.

Services were held on November 24 at 3:00 at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dan Morton officiating. Interment was in City Cemetery. Pallbearers were Barney Philley, Nelson Solomon, Arnold Pyron, A.W. "Jack" Hart, O'Neal Whatley, F. M. Fraiser and Ed Welch.
