THE PARIS NEWS Tue., May 25, 1993, p.14A. 'Calvin Roscoe (Bunk) Helms, 78, of Dallas died Sunday, May 23, in Methodist Medical Center. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 26, at the First Baptist Church in Roxton with the Rev. Keith Royal officiating. Burial will be in Restland Cemetery. The body will lie at the church from noon until service time. Mr. Helms was born Dec. 23, 1914, in Roxton, a son of Herbert and Evie Vaughn Helms. He was a construction worker and served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a Baptist. Surviving are his wife; one son, Alvin Helms of Fort Worth; two daughters, Teresa Hermandez of Dallas and Brenda Kay Terrell of DeSoto; two sisters, Margaret Self and Jane Staley, both of Dallas; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.'
