Mrs. Carrie Ann Rebecca Biddinger, wife of Francis C. Biddinger Sr., died at her home, 201 East Seventh street, Sunday afternoon at 12:35 o'clock after an illness of two years. She was 75.
She was a daughter of the late Hezekiah and Elizabeth Baker Poole and was a devout member of the Frederick Church of the Brethren and the Ladies Aide Society of the church.
Surviving are her husband, three sons and three daughters, Francis C. Biddinger Jr., at home; George T. Biddinger, Utica; Paul H. Biddinger, Mrs. Edward Smith, both of this city; Mrs. Paul E. Young, near Unionville and Mrs. Chester M. Ausherman, near Walkersville; four sisters, Miss Amanda Poole, Myersville; Mrs. Wilbur Ahalt, near Middletown; Miss Alta Poole, Myersville, and Mrs. John Terfield, Silver Spring. Sixteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive.
The body is at the funeral home, 106 East Church street where friends may call after 7 o'clock this evening, Wednesday morning the body will be removed to the Frederick Church of the Brethren to lie in state from 10 o'clock until 11 o'clock, at which time funeral services will be held. Interment will be in Locust Grove cemetery. M. R. Etchison and Son, funeral directors.
