Mrs. Ann Elizabeth Poole, widow of Hezekiah Poole died a her home near Grossnickle Church of the Brethren, Myersville early Sunday morning. Death came after a lingering illness of complications, age 82 years, three months, and four days. She was a daugher of the late Ezra and Amanda Delauger Baker and is survived by these children: Mrs. Carrie Biddinger, Frederick; Mrs. Wilbur Ahalt (Minnie), Middletown; Miss Alta Poole, at home; Miss Amanda Poole, Myersville; Mrs. Grace Theofield, Silver Spring. Also surviving are these brothers and sisters: Lewis Baker and James Baker, Harmony, Mrs. Reuben Grove (Sally), Shookstown; Daniel Baker, Dayton, Ohio; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was a life-long member of the Grossnickle church. The body rests at the late residence where friends may call until Wednesday morning when it will be removed to the Grossnickle Church for services there, 11 o'clock. Rev. Basil Grossnickle will officiate. Internment in church cemetery. Paul F. Bittle, funeral director.
