Fred married Gertrude Grace Noonan October 14, 1908 in Watertown, SD. They were the parents of Jennymae Whistler Williams, born 1915 in Watertown. Fred worked at his father's butcher shop most of his working days but eventually went to San Diego. It is thought he is buried in the El Camino Memorial Park in San Diego.
