Henry was the son of Samuel and Eve Catharine (Spong) Kingery.  He married Mary Ann Gregg about 1837 in Ohio.  After her death he married Mariah Clapp sometime in the 1850s and later married Nancy A. (maiden name unknown) sometime in the 1860s.  Some have combined Mariah and Nancy A. into one person.  Mariah is on the 1860 census with Henry and listed as age 30, born in Illinois.  This seems to be a different person than Nancy A. who is on 1870 and 1880 censuses with Henry and listed as ages 45 and 55 respectively and born in Ohio.  Records of these marriages were probably destroyed in the 1885 Cumberland County Courthouse fire.  For more information on Henry Kingery, see my online genealogy database, the link to which can be found in my profile.
