Roxanne "Roxie" Mae Miller, 67, of Superior, died Wednesday April 7, 2021 after a brief illness at Essentia Health-St. Mary's Medical Center, Duluth. Roxie was born September 18, 1953 in Superior, WI to Gerald and Violet (Wood) Lawler. She graduated from Solon Springs High School in 1971. On April 3, 1982 she was united in marriage to her loving husband Albert "Al" W. Miller, Jr. Roxie worked at W.R. Hayes, Holzberg's Laundry, Kapus Erickson and Children's Corner Daycare as a bookkeeper for many years. Her last job before retiring was at Target cafeteria, where she loved meeting and talking to people. Some of her favorite pastimes included reading and working with crafts. Preceding her in death were her parents; brother, David Lawler; and her beloved canine companions, Suzy Q and Isabelle. Survivors include her husband of over 39 years, Albert; stepson, Jeffery (Angela) Miller, Ft. Lauderdale, FL; grandchildren, Matthew and Danniella; sisters, Vivian Ormston and Lori (Dave) Bjerklien; brothers, Jack (Lucy) Lawler and Troy Lawler; and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday June 11, 2021, at the Bennett Cemetery, Bennett, WI. A luncheon will follow at the Bennett Town Hall.
