Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday for Anna St. John Barrett, 85, who died yesterday at her home, 3680 Green Hill Drive, after a long illness.
Mrs. Barrett, wife of the late Roe Barrett, Santa Rosa attorney and former president of the Santa Rosa Board of Education, was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Incarnation, the Saturday Afternoon Club, and was on the Santa Rosa Sonoma County Library Board for 35 years.
She was born in California and moved to Sonoma County in 1915.
She is survived by her son, St. John Barrett, Maryland; her daughter Nancy Ringle, Palos Verdes; her grandchildren, Sallie Piescla of Los Angeles, Stephen Ringle of Palos Verdes, and Susan, James, David, Robert, and Anna Barrett, all of Maryland, and great grandmother of Donald Piescla... She was also a retired substitute teacher, head of the USO; officer of the Republican Women, on the Citizens Advisory Council at Los Guiluccos, and head of the Camp Fire Girls.
Mrs. Barrett will be received at the Church of the Incarnation, 550 Mendocino Avenue, Santa Rosa, at 8:30 a.m., Saturday, July 29, where she will lie in state until the funeral services at 11 a.m. Private inurnment, Chapel of the Chimes
