SANFORD - Ruth S. Orrell, 59, 2422 Holly Ave., who lived in Daytona Beach for 15 years before moving to Sanford five years ago, died Wednesday at Seminole Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
Mrs. Orrell was born in Lawrenceville, Ga., and was the widow of Robert Orrell, outdoor editor for the Sanford area. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Bonnie Pennington, Daytona Beach; Brenda Noah, Gainesville; and Beverly Beckwith, Deltona; three sons, Robert S., Bary L., and Brian D., all of Daytona Beach; her mother, Maude Stanley, Holly Hill; one brother, Harry Stanley, Leesburg; one sister, Joyce Smith, Chester, Va., and eight grandchildren.
