She is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law; Ann Owen (Furman), Frances Jones (Carroll), Ruby Sprouse (Donald), Pat Hooper (Grady); one son and daughter-in-law; Bill Rogers (Velma); ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was a homemaker and devoted to and will be greatly missed by her family, church and many friends. She enjoyed growing flowers and having a vegetable garden. She loved quilting, needle work, canning and making jelly and jam.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 22, 1997 in New Hope Baptist Church of which she was a charter member. The Rev. Douglas (Pete) Lee and Rev. Tommy Owen will officiate. Her grand-sons will be pallbearers. Burial will follow in Pisgah Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 P. M., Friday, November 21, 1997 at Moore Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to New Hope Baptist Church.
